Minimum Requirement

Education:

  • Qualification: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering,
  • Computer literate,
  • Good leadership skills and good communication skills,
  • Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment,
  • Good analytical skills,
  • H2S OPITO and T-BOSIET trainings

Professional Qualifications/Required Experience:
  • Experience: At least 5 years’ experience in the offshore oil & gas project
  • Experience within a project team: At least 5 years’ experience within large multinational taskforce team environment,
  • Work experience in structural engineering
  • Experience in tendering, procurement and engineering processes
  • Available for technical missions worldwide,
  • Familiar with Total General Specifications, Prodom, MOQ standards and relevant codes and standards,

Main Responsibilities

  • To promote & comply with applicable safety instructions and other NOC HSE procedures in all EPCIC activities,
  • To carry out work in compliance with NOC values and policies, relevant laws and regulations, agreed NOC priorities and objectives, NOC standards and procedures and good industry practices,
  • To follow-up FEED engineering to ensure timely readiness of LLI’s document packages for RFQ
  • To follow-up LLI engineering and fabrication processes for free-issued and assigned COMPANY items coordinating documentation review, surveillance and management of interfaces
  • To follow-up during EPCIC5 execution, tender preparation, clarification meetings, and bidder evaluation for main EPC subcontracts/POs
  • Ensure proper execution of EPC subcontracts/Pos and coordinate documentation review and COMPANY surveillance plan with QAQC Lead.
  • To manage potential deviations from the NOC referential with the Engineering Manager for final decision on whether or not to implement,
  • To oversee all Project Procurement activities – monitor and report progress, prepare Procurement Status Report to Project Management Team;
  • Expediting Contractor for Long Lead and Critical Items (LLI);
  • Work with Company’s Engineering and QAQC department on vendor evaluation and selection criteria and participate in Vendor’s audits if necessary.
  • Evaluate vendor performance during execution of the project and set up resolution for procurement related issues in a timely manner;
  • Participate to Spare Parts management / procurement with providing guidance to Contractor and coordination with MP/FOPS department, end users and warehouse.
  • Participate to Contractor and Company Vendor’s mobilization for all phases of the project.
  • To liaise with Commissioning team to ensure smooth transfer between pre-commissioning and commissioning
  • In case of drift in schedule, liaise with other team involved (engineering, construction, commissioning) to study remedial actions
  • Promote a “no change policy” to meet budget and schedule constraint without impairing quality and safety of the EPC activities.
  • To manage assistance from shareholder specialists (remote head office), when required during all phases,
  • To assist EPC contract management with regards to all technical, commercial and contractual issues arising during Batch 3 WHP EPCIC Works execution and liaise with EPCIC Package Lead on regular basis on that matters,
  • To attend HAZID/ HAZOP/ Project Technical reviews sessions with NOC, Contractors and vendors teams
  • To ensure engineering support to construction and commissioning teams as required,
  • To promote alternatives solutions to reduce and to optimise the duration of offshore activities,
  • To ensure close coordination within team on all engineering, constructability and operational matters,
  • To ensure that relevant feedback from previous similar projects are considered project works performance,
